Jayme Syposh

For Jayme, art is not just a hobby but a vital part of life itself. He believes in the power of creativity to enrich and enliven existence, viewing art as a journey of self-discovery and expression. “I am curious,” says Jayme, “and want to prove to myself that I can grow and take on new challenges. I like to do a bit of everything.” Their artistic practise reflects this philosophy, as they explore themes of connection, emotion, and play, through a diverse range of mediums including clay, felt, paint, linocut, sewing, writing, and drawing.

Through his artwork, Jayme seeks to evoke emotion, spark joy, and foster connection with both himself and others. He says, “I don’t want to be alone, and I don’t want others to be alone.”
